Why can't i get ios.7 for my iphone 5?
The update isn't even there on my settings app and i've been hearing about the Beta version FOREVER and my friend has it for his ipod 5. And he wouldnt tell me how to get it -.
IOS 7 hasn't been released by Apple yet. Hence the beta… You can get it if you're a registered developer with Apple (which costs $99).
There are some ways to download for free although I think it voids the warranty, try a quick google search for "get ios 7"
IOS 7 isn't out to the public until the fall, but you can try it early if your device is registered with a developer account via a site like http://www.instantudid.com/.It's $5, and then you can install the beta before everyone else like your friend.
IOS 7 is out. But it won't install for some reason. It will download but won't install on my iPhone 5!
Over 30 million people are downloading it right now. The phone won't install because the servers are so overloaded, i had the same problem. Just keep trying.

- Why can't i get ios 7 on my iphone 4? Its available in my area and everything cause my friend got it on her ipad already. But I go to settings and the update thing and it says "ios 6.1.3 your software is up to date"? Is it not compatible with the iphone 4 or something?
- Why can't I get iOS 8 on my iPhone 4s? I have the iPhone 4s and when I go to my settings and click general then go to the software update there's the download and install button but it's gray making me unable to download it. Is there a reason for this? How can I download it?

I didn't really care for the new look of ios 7 and never updated the software on my iPhone 4s, but now that ios 8 is out, I wish I had updated to 7 while I still could. I really feel like my software is old and outdated, so it would be nice to upgrade. Is there any way to upgrade to 7 now? If not, I'll stay at 6 because I hear ios 8 runs terribly on 4s.
