Why do I look so fat in iPhone pictures but good in the mirror?
So I've been on a health kick lately and I looked in the mirror today and I thought I looked okay. I was actually happy with my body for once. Later I took a full length pic with my iPhone 5 and I couldn't believe how fat I looked… Omfg I'm so depressed now. I feel like all my hard work eating healthy and exercising was for nothing. Why did I look so fat in my pictures but good in the mirror? Which is more accurate? Ughh
They say, when you look in the mirror, you are looking at your left side first. Usually, people's left side is prettier than their right. When you take a pic by phone or by an means, it gives you the reality of what you look like. It's all about angles.
Reality is more accurate. Pictures might add weight, i don't know about your phone. Just keep focusing on being healthy hon. I'm sure you're fine.
Pictures can be done from bad or great angles, mirrors can distort reality…
- Why does the iPhone camera make my nose look fat? I think I'm pretty good looking. My nose is pointy and thin for the most part, I've never been told I have a fat nose. I have a thin face. But for some reason the iPhone camera makes my nose look huge and my face look fat! I started crying when I saw the picture. I've taken pictures in the past on a regular film camera and my nose looks completely different. Does anyone else have this problem?

My face looks thinner in all mirrors I look in to. My mom has a picture of me with my face looking horribly round and huge. It was taken with an iPhone camera. So I don't know if it's the camera or if its me. Pictures make me feel insecure. A lot of times I see pictures of myself I feel like I'm looking at a different person!

Whenever I look into my iPhone camera I look extremely pale, my zits look extremely red, and my eyes just appear "brown" but when I look into the mirror I look a little tan, and my zits look very small and not that big of a deal, and my eyes appear more greenish and hazel. And no there's no lighting of the room when I'm looking into the mirror it's just natural light. Is it just the camera that makes me look ugly? Or is my mirror wrong and my Cameras right? :/
