Why does my iPhone 5s lose battery so fast? - 1

My iPhone seems to lose battery really fast and i don't know what to do

It could be a lot of things.

Most likely, it's the battery that's dying. After x amount of charging and discharging, batteries begin loosing their abilities to hold a full charge for long.

You can replace it yourself if you're comfortable working on the inside of the phone, you can take it to a repair shop, or take it to Apple.

Batterys lose capacity after certain time and alot of recharges buy a new phone or go to a shop or apple to get your battery replaced

There seems to be an issue with the battery.

You can take these measures to maximize the battery life.
- Check to make sure phone is updated to latest iOS.
- Turn the brightness down to lowest level OR select 'auto brightness' and the iPhone will adjust the brightness accordingly
- The 3G data takes more battery compared to Wi-Fi, so always choose Wi-Fi when it is available.
- The data synchronization of all application should be set to maximum. I.e. If emails are being checked every 5 minutes, it will drain battery faster compared to 1 hour interval.
- Kill the background apps. There are usually some applications running in background draining your battery, you can turn these off by going into Settings > General > Background app refresh.

If after applying all the above remedies, still the battery is dying down quickly, then you do need to get that battery checked from apple or get it replaced if suggested by them.
