Why won't my iphone connect to our home Wi-Fi?
Other devices and even my mac can connect to our home Wi-Fi just fine. Seems like everything but my iphone 5 just won't connect. After i press the network, it selects and does the check icon for a split second and disconnects again. Doesn't even allow me to enter the password first.
Try resetting your Wi-Fi
Try unplugging your roughter and plugging it back it it usually works for me
There's a feature in most routers set by default that is ment to increase compatibility with older computes. Your security encreption (I'm guessing) is WPA/WPA2 TKIP/AES. This is 4 types of security and for some reason. Apple hates it. I recommend logging into your router and changing this to WPA2 AES. All other devices are likly using that setting already so no further configuration will likely be needed. However, if somethings else on the network does stop working, you can fix it eather by changing the network name (SSID) in the router. Or deleting(of forgetting) the network from said device and reconnect.
