Will a jailbreak damage my iPhone 4S?
I just got my iPhone 4S for Christmas, and I'm thinking of jailbreaking it, but I don't know the risks of doing it though. I did it with my iPod touch 4th gen but it did horrible damage to my iPod so that's the only reason why I was worried. So if you guys have any help you can give me that would be helpful ok thanks bye!
Yes. And you can get a horrible virus and plus half the time those web sites are fake and they just say false info on settings on how to get past certain parts.
Do it man, You'll learn about the phone so much more about it via the jailbreak. Also, apple restricts the device from the factory. With the jailbreak, you'll be able to use the phone to its full potential. And if anything goes wrong, just restore using iTunes.
Yes. The defects are shorter battery life and if you wanna get your iPhone fixed at the apple store they can't fix it since it's jailbroken
- My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?
