Will apple repair a broken screen on my iPhone 4S?
Not for free of course because apple doesn't do anything for free, but will it be like the 30 dollars of the back cover or will it be an obscene price like $200 or something like that?
I saw Radio Shack advertising that they do it starting at $75.
Not sure about the iPhone 4s, but they were going to charge $100 per screen when my siblings all cracked their iPod touch 4g. It will probably be more for the iPhone, but I'm not certain
If it's because of the user's negligence, then it's a no. You can ask for a repair, free labor i believe, but you'll be needing to pay for the spare part, that is if it's under warranty. But if not, then they will charge you costly compared to any repair shops.

Expect to pay $50+ extra for someone to fit it for you - lots of electrical/computer repair stores will do it.
Having it done by Apple directly will probably be the most expensive option.
Apple doesn't repair your phone. It's either $179 to replace a previous model or $220 to replace a 4S.
Refurbished phones are fine. You won't be able to tell the difference.
I find Apple repairs pricing to be very arbitrary. They just make up a number on the spot. If you went to a different Apple store you would probably get a different price or an offer to replace it for free.
- When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
- Went to a repair shop for Iphone 6 screen and battery replacement and now screen is unresponsive and loose? Should I go back and have them fix it? The battery is fine but the screen response time is so bad and it lags which it didn't do before. Also they screwed in the screen bad. I can see into the phone bad. Will they fix it for free?
- Iphone glass repair/broken screen? My friend dropped my iphone 4 on the floor today and my screen shattered. Does anyone have any idea as to what my best option is? Would it be cheaper for me to buy a used iphone 4, or to go get it repaired by someone who is experienced, or should i try to repair it myself? Also, if i do decide to just get the screen repaired, does anyone know of a place i can take it to get repaired fast, cheap, and a place that is reliable? I do not have applecare.
- If I buy a iPhone with a broken screen and I repair the screen will it turn on still locked and be unusable? I'm thinking about buying broken iPhones and repairing their screens to resell them but how do I know if I buy a phone that won't turn on that once I fix the screen and it does turn on that it won't be locked from the previous owner and be unusable? Can they then be completely reset to be able to be re sold?
