Iphone glass repair/broken screen?
My friend dropped my iphone 4 on the floor today and my screen shattered. Does anyone have any idea as to what my best option is? Would it be cheaper for me to buy a used iphone 4, or to go get it repaired by someone who is experienced, or should i try to repair it myself? Also, if i do decide to just get the screen repaired, does anyone know of a place i can take it to get repaired fast, cheap, and a place that is reliable? I do not have applecare.
Try looking online and locally for places that repair, it shouldn't be that much over $100, also when it is fixed, get a good case like an otter box, or the pricey (80$) but waterproof life proof case.
- Will apple repair my iphone 4 screen glass? I dropped my iPhone 4 and the glass cracked on the front, it's not the actual screen, just the glass that covers it, everything else works fine, I read on some Apple forums that if you take your phone to an Apple store, they repair it for free, is this true? Has anyone had to pay for Apple to repair their screen, if so, how much?
- Will apple repair a broken screen on my iPhone 4S? Not for free of course because apple doesn't do anything for free, but will it be like the 30 dollars of the back cover or will it be an obscene price like $200 or something like that?
- IPhone 4 glass. Repair it myself or send it in? Time came today when I dropped my iPhone 4. Cracked the screen pretty bad. So my question is should I buy a replacement kit for around $30 and try to do it myself? Or send it into Mission Repair (I've had good work with them) for $100 and have them do it? I feel like I will mess something up on my iPhone if I do it. But then if I don't do it, I'll have to wait for it to ship, fix it, and then send it back and also be out $100.
- If I buy a iPhone with a broken screen and I repair the screen will it turn on still locked and be unusable? I'm thinking about buying broken iPhones and repairing their screens to resell them but how do I know if I buy a phone that won't turn on that once I fix the screen and it does turn on that it won't be locked from the previous owner and be unusable? Can they then be completely reset to be able to be re sold?
