Will Apple replace my iphone 5c? - 1

I got an iPhone 5c for Xmas and it's been great except it doesn't receive calls and doesn't receive texts until about 10 hours later and I have got 5 bars and I have tried 3 SIM cards and my provider says it the phone. I brought the phone and have a sim only contract. This is in warranty and a techical fault. Also 2 of my friends had this and got it replaced. Do you think they will replace mine?

I think it's at least worth a shot. With these things I always feel it's better to go as soon as the problem starts rather then waiting. If it is a defect in the phone then I see no reason why Apple wouldn't replace it. I have actually had a defective iPhone from them on one of the older models (sorry, I can't remember which one) and they replaced it for me. If it happened to your friends and they fixed or replaced theirs then I would go where they went.

Also, when ever I buy a new iPhone, I always pay for the 2 year Apple-care warranty where I get 2 accidental breakage claims. I actually went in and swapped my shattered iPhone for a new one with under my Apple insurance and it only cost me 50$. When you get the 2 year insurance it's an extra 100$ but to me it's 100% worth it.

I'm almost 100% sure apple will replace, or at least fix yor current phone. Since you got it Christmas, not more than a month ago, it's still under warranty. You should be able to go to the apple store (make sure you schedule an appointment! You don't want to drive all the way to apple and be rejected!), talk to an employee, and they should fix it for FREE. Every apple product gets one free "fix" or "replacement", if it's still under warranty. Unless you've already used your "freebee", it should be free. Although, I resigned from apple 2 years ago. Their policy might have changed. Anyways, I wish you the best.

I haven't heard of your symptoms before, have you tried restoring the phone to factory settings? If that doesn't help then its definitely a hardware issue. Book an appointment at your local apple store for their 'genius bar' and they should even replace the phone there and then or repair it (which is usually very rare). But as you are still well within the warranty period it will be free.

I don't see anyway thats related to your phone, its not like its storing calls and msgs and then just not showing them to you until later.
