Will iPhone 5 price go down soon?

I heard Apple is coming out with two new iPhones in early September. Is this true? If so, will it drive down the prices of the iPhone 5? Right now verizon is selling them for $199, so what price will they be in September?

As it has been the case since 2008… When a new iphone debuts, the previous gets $100 price cut… And since 2009, when a new iphone debuts, the previous gets a 100 cut and the one before that get a $150 cut and only sold as 8GB models until phased out

  • Will the price of the iphone 5 go down? I'm looking to buy an iphone 5 but its very expensive, €679. I'm wondering will the price go down over Christmas or within the next few months. If so I will wait. How long did it take for the iphone 4 to drop in price, or did it at all?
  • Will the iphone 5 price go down when the iphone 6 is released? I'm not talking about brand new from the apple store, but a second hand iphone 5 like from ebay or second hand phone shops etc.

  • Will the iPhone 4S price go down? With AT&T, the iPhone 4S (32gb) is $199 instead of $299 with a discounted upgrade, I just talked to an employee. I heard that the iPhone 4S will go down in price $100 everywhere because of the iPhone 5. So, if I use my upgrade after the iPhone 5, will my discounted price be $99 instead of $199?
