Will it cost me if I use 'personal hotspot' from my iphone to my laptop?

I have an iphone, and my Wi-Fi just went down so I was wondering if it would cost to use that 'personal hotspot' thing onto my laptop because I want to watch netflix, and in not doing it on my phone (screens small)

Oh and I have unlimited data (3G) and my providers I think are EE.

Well i'll tell you that here in the states unlimited data doesn't always mean for a hotspot or then may charge you for usage (an entirely dif. Matter). For instance Verizon you have to start out paying separately for data starting at like 2gb (a movie) for like 20-30 dollars, in addition to your calling/texting if you want any int. At all. Others: Sprint says unlimited data on phone but pay 20 dollars extra for hotspot (if you want) which is then capped at 5gb which I prodded to see if they cut off and they went all ghetto on my ***~so I let them turn their game face on-whatever, their whack. So now I assume that this means you are limited. Last but not least my last actual experience is with T-Mobile which I like but the phone is kind of you know… So i'm looking, but yeah… They start with 2gb of just plain data at 4g speed (fast) for the entire phone (including hotspot) for about 50 dollars then for another twenty you get double that at 4g but they actually let you use your phone after that for internet surfing (2g speed) so that kind of works.
