Will my iPhone 5 warranty cover my defected charger?
I had my iPhone 5 for a while but then all of a sudden, my charger started not to work. I haven't gone to the apple store yet but i was wondering will my 1 year warranty cover that? Will i be able to just swap my chord?

The one year limited hardware warranty does allow of DIY replacements. There are 4 ways that you can go about getting a replacement, but if you live near an Apple Store bring it there and swap it out.
Keep in mind that there are a few things that can cause the phone to not charge properly, so don't assume that the charger is the problem because there's a good chance that is not the problem. Normally it would be a good idea to call Apple and they can walk you through the steps, I'm an iOS Technical Advisor for Apple so I can give you the same info that they would give you if you called.
easiest way to find out if it is the charger or not. Just get a friend to let you try their charger. If it works you will know that your charger is the problem. If it does not work you will know it is the phone…
