Will police come to my door over eBay scam?
I sold a iphone 6 used on eBay 2 weeks ago sent it off to be signed for now the buyer is saying the box was empty and ther was no phone in box wot is very untrue I sent box charger and phone he now wants a full refund or he will open a case so it's my word to he's wot I want to know is if I refuse to refund him will police show up at my door does police get involved with eBay? Why do ppl find it funny to scam on eBay I'll end up losing phone and money ps he's saying he didn't sign for it but a friend did
Tell him the box wasn't empty, its as simple as that. He's just trying to scam you and threaten you. If he wants to open a case I would tell him to go ahead, and you will follow up with your own case with ebay. I assume you have proof of delivery also as you will need that.
IF he reports this to the police, they will inform him it is a CIVIL case, and they can't do ANYTHING.
This is not a police matter. If he wants to do anything he'd have to sue you in small claims court ad this is a civil matter not criminal
Do you still have the shipping receipt? Keep it in a safe place as it will show by the weight listed that the box was not empty. That weight on the receipt is your proof
Also preempt this now by contacting eBay to warn them a buyer is trying to scam you and your receipt proves the box was not empty because of the weight
- Why does an IPhone sound like a Minecraft door when you close it? I usually don't have my ringer on on my IPhone X but recently I turned it on during my spring break and realized when you closed an IPhone it sounds like when you close a door and Minecraft. - Lifeproof case charger port door opens too easily? So, i have a lifeproof case for my iphone 4s and the door on the charger port opens way too easily. My mom has a the exact same lifeproof case but in a different color- and her charger port door is much more secure. If it means anything, the charger port itself is cracked all the way down the inside leading to the iPhone. What's wrong with the case and how do I fix it without buying a whole new one?
- How should I record (or shoot) and prove slamming neighbor's door? My neighbor starts slamming the door again after they were received a warning letter by my landlord. They know it's difficult to prove how hoisy they are. It might be a minor complaints. But it's so noisy. I try to record and shoot the scene with sounds, also date and time when it happened with iPhone and another camera. However, it's small and different sounds than actual sounds. How should I record the slamming neighbor's door?
- My iPhone 4S keeps turning off over and over and over again? I was on my phone just listening to OM&M on pandora and going on twitter when all of a sudden it shut off and now it's stuck on the turning off screen for like an hour or two. What do i do I'm FREAKING OUT.
