Will the iPhone 4 be losing support?
I'm thinking of changing to verizon for my cell phone carrier. I also plan to be getting a new phone. The iPhone 4 would be free, so this seems as though it would be a good deal, unless the phone would be getting phased out. The iPhone 4s is $100, and the iPhone 5 is $200. I know that the iPhone 5 has a longer screen, so would that mean apps and such for the old sized screen of the 4 (and 4s?) are being phased out? Also, the contract would be for two years.
About the apps, no.iOS apps have the option to be scaled to suit so an iPhone 5 optimized app will work fine & display fine on an iPhone 4/4S. Hence why Apple still sells those 2 iPhones.
My advise, best skip iPhone 4.
Cause in this current world, programmers are already leaping to create apps that is more compatible with dual or quad core processors.
Time will make iPhone 4 feel slow.
Anyway, why would you choose iPhone?
Why not run to an Android like Sony XPERIA or Samsung?
For the same price, you get better specs and screen size too.
Not to say, Sony has XPERIA models that are dirt, water and smash proof.
ILostFinder seems useful. I will have a try later.
- Will any Ireland Mobile Networks support L. T. E (4G) or iPhone 5? The question pretty much says it all. Does anyone know if any Irish networks (I know Vodafone and O2 are not) supporting LTE:4G data? Specifically for the iPhone 5. Leave the fanboy troll comments at the door, a simple yes/no specifics are what I'm after.
- What providers support a Verizon iPhone 4? I'm leaving my parents plan and paying for my own phone, what other carriers besides Verizon supports a Verizon iPhone 4? I know companies like at&t make you buy a whole new phone to go with them.
- Technical support - using Iphone/Ipad as a webcam? Is it possible for someone to use a webcam on their computer/laptop and the receiver be able to use their Ipad/Iphone camera? I thought that it may be possible to use a hotmail account as my hotmail account is linked with my Iphone/Ipad.
- My bricked iPhone won't support a charge. It was previously non-tetheredly jailbroken? It's a 16gb iPhone 3gs. I jailbroke it but it was untethered so it became bricked. It started with not charging on the computer and then not charging on the wall charger and then eventually not holding a charge.
