Will UK mail deliver my parcel?
I have ordered an iPhone 5S and it was dispatched and came on Friday there was someone in the house in bed but the UK mail deliverer clearly knocked quietly, I'm so annoyed that they don't think that maybe someone is in bed and they could knock a bit louder, they left a note slip saying they will deliver on Monday and once again my dad the person who was there last time will be asleep I can't afford to miss the next delivery and I can't be home if it goes to the depot I won't be able to pick it up because they require ID from the person who brought it and that was my 96 year old gran she can't go down there to pick it up so I'm wondering if I leave a note with my dad's number on for them to call and wake him up when they deliver the parcel will they call? And any other information you have on UK mail like do they deliver at the same time as last time?
Call them and explain your situation. They are a major parcel delivery service and I'm sure they don't have time to call your dad and wake him up. That is not part of their service and is not their fault that the person at home was asleep. Maybe your dad should wake up earlier and wait.
Yes you can contact them at the number supplied and arrange a day for it to be delivered and a special note saying please ring bell, Night worker.

UK mail usually comes at a set time where you live, give or take 30 mins or so depending on traffic and the amount of letter/parcels, put a note on the door asking to knock loud and wait a couple of minutes…

- Is it safe to order an iPhone to a university campus parcel room? I'm planning on buying a new iPhone, however whenever I attempt to reserve it in order to pick up from a local store, the page says it's out of stock. That's why I want to order online, but I live in a university accommodation.

Current status from the UPS website is 'EXCEPTION -- Shipment pending release from clearance agency.' I actually used UPS and didn't mind paid hefty to get it on time but it ended up being delayed. My parcel's an iPhone shipped by my friend from the US and I'm wondering how long will it take them to release its clearance. An estimate will do.
