1998 Nissan Maxima Bose Tape player problems

I own a 1998 Nissan Maxima with a Bose AM/FM Tape CD Player Stereo in it. I use my tape player the most to listen to my Iphone music with a tape converter. Over the summer I had no problems with the tape player, but now whenever I start my car, the tape deck sounds like its fast forwarding and won't stop. I can't play my music when it does this. I'm thinking that now that its getting colder out that its messing with it? Can anybody help?

Your radio was made to play tapes, cassettes of 22 minutes per side, back them there was a paper on the warranty about the bose radio that mentions, that your warranty will be void if you listen to 90 or 120 minutes tapes,

the adapter you are using have no end, the motor belts pulleys are always moving and eventually the radio tape section will go bad
the solution is to buy an auxiliary interface for Nissan radios, they will allow you to input direct Audio into the factory Nissan radio, you can also add a 3.5 button jack and it will look and work just like the 2008 models
