2 Devices Backed Up On iTunes?

I have an iPod touch 4th gen, and iPhone 3G. I'm getting the iPhone 4 today and i wanna know if its possible to add the data from both devices onto my new phone?

Well you need the same data on both ipod and iphone so i recommend sync them to itunes then witth the iphone 4 set up icloud on the same itunes account and your data should be on it

You could use iPhoto to get your images from both devices, Music Rescue to get the music and videos, and sign in to iTunes to get your maps. Voice memos can also be saved through Music Rescue. Once you've got all your information in iTunes then you can sync it all at once on your iPhone.

Assuming you have backed up and synced both the other devices to your iTunes on your computer, this should be no problem. The method is as follows:

1) When you are ready to upgrade to your iPhone 4 then sync both devices one last time, making sure to go into all the sub-menus in iTunes ensuring that apps, photos, music and movies are backed up.

2) Connect your new iPhone and start to install it. Do not use set up your iPhone before connecting it to your computer. As soon as you connect it, you will get the option to restore it from the copy of your iPhone 3G backup that you have just made. Choose this option, and your new iPhone 4 will become a true copy of your iPhone 3G.

You will need to sync your iPhone 4 and ensure that all the submenus are set up to transfer apps, music, contacts, movies and so on, and then re-sync, to ensure that everything gets copied over.

As long as you use only one Apple iTunes account, and you have synced all your devices to one computer, then all your data and apps will be shared across these devices.
