£27 pound a month iphone 5 contract?
With a £99 pound up front cost, is it worth it? The contract is 500 minutes and unlimited texts? This would be my first contact mobile phone so please any tips advice etc
More info needed.
How long is the contract for? 1 year, 2 years?
I assume it's unlimited data too? (I would hope so!)
Do you need 500 minutes a month?
Basically you need to take the cost of the phone and then compare the overall deal to SIM only deals.
Facts:
1) Your phone is £31 a month assuming a 2 year deal and taking into account the £99 upfront cost.
2) An unlocked iPhone 5 at £529 would be £22 a month over 2 years. GiffGaff's £15 monthly plan (unlimited texts, unlimited Internet, 400 minutes) would take it up to £37 a month.
So you can pay £31 a month on a contract that locks you in for 2 years, or £37 a month with no lock in and 100 fewer minutes.
