6th grader getting an iPhone 6?
Hi I'm in the sixth grade and my mom said she's going to get me an iPhone 6. I do believe I'm responsible because I have had many phones before and never broke. But somehow I feel like I shouldn't be getting one. Well what do you guys think should a 6th grader have an iPhone 6 or not?
I think it's fine for this generation.
It's fine if you rlly don't want it tell her and get it in one to two years. You only need one of you do lots of sports or always at friends house and need pick ups stuff like this
I can't imagine why a 6th grader needs an iPhone six. I think it will just make other kids jealous, and it makes you a target for getting mugged. So I think you're right, you shouldn't get one.
It is normal if it were a award for you.
I think that if your mom is OK with getting you one and you're able to be responsible with it then you should enjoy it.
If your parents want to get you one, that's their business but I don't believe a child of your age needs and iphone 6
I think its acceptable, but both that and the larger one the 6+(that's easier to hand hold, easier to photograph with) are pretty obsolete at this point, the 6S and 6+ are where its at with a whole host of new and returning stuff (including UHD 4k video and a much better interpretation of that than the androids that do it already, it can continually use it as long as free storage is left and is 375MB in storage), go with them and get apple pay when you're older if the bank you bank at is ready for that.
i think your responsible and should get that, but tell mom to move on to the 6S and 6S+ as they both advanced the game very far and the brand is trying to compete with android (legitimately trying, 4k is generous, will not be doing scene modes as that's Android OS software that's closed to Apple to use, you will not be getting exposure comp, white balance, manual control, etc because Apple as a brand believes in teaching its users nothing but pointing and shooting in camera, but you get the power to play more graphics intensive games if your a gamer as a plus for a larger screen only).
i think it will work out for you for the right reasons, but keep the new ones in mind as well.
Android's version of 4k is limited to 5 minutes on most if not all of them, on some of those they do even shorter than shut down (the sony Xperia's specifically, they get a shorter time limit for UHD 4k video than shut off to prevent the device overheating). Which is where the apple interpretation is appropriate to use, the Android interpretation is restrained in this area, but functions like a dedicated camera photographically. To view your footage it requires a very large and expensive tv (phone will shoot and record that high and natively in the resolution of 4k) capable of a very high powered codec and lots of power and efficiency.
hope this helps, go for the 6, 6+, 6S or 6S+
It's interesting that you've made the comment "somehow I feel like I shouldn't be getting one"
It's certainly not something a 6th grader needs.
Have you thought about talking to your mom, letting her know how you feel?
If there's a particular reason she wants you to have an iPhone 6, ask her what it is.

- What should my 6th pokemon for my team be? First off let me just say the reason why I'm still playing emerald is because I'm playing it on my iphone plus this is my first time playing in this generation. But anyways my team on my emerald so far is blaziken lvl 38, vibrava lvl 36, gyarados lvl 37, nuzleaf lvl 37, and manectric lvl 37… Just can't seem to figure out what I want as my 6th pokemon yet.
- Should I buy the iPod Touch 6th gen, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6s? I have an iPod 5th get since December 2012. It is in rough shape now and I'm going to have to replace it in the next months. What should I get? (I also have a MacBook Pro 2014 btw) *Would it be ridiculous to buy an iPhone and not get a plan right away?
- Should a seventh grader get an iphone 5? Ok. So i begged my parents for an iphone and they finally got me the iphone 5. I realized i was addicted to it and i want to go back to my old phone and i hate it when people are like "what's wrong with this generation.ugh third graders with iphones every where" and i hate that label and i always want my old phone now a days so what do you think i should do?
- Is there any way of getting iPhone 5 for 199$ and getting rid of the contract? I just want the phone and wanna get rid of the contract without paying for it. I know how to unlock the phone so that's not a problem.
