A few weeks ago I received an email from a hacker?
He stated that a couple months earlier i was on an insecure Wi-Fi network and he hacked into my firmware system to my iphone 8plus. He then told me that if i didn't send him 900 he would lock my device on me.
Well today, i believe that happened. One second I was able to put my password in. The next i couldn t get in with my thumb print nor my password. I tried to hard reset the phone with the up down volume buttons and side, it looks like it is going to reboot, then turns back on and disables me from the phone for another hour. I tried to connect the phone to my computer to factory reset it but, when I plug it in a message pops up saying "unlock to use usb device"
is this even possible for someone to hack my firmware and change the password on my phone.

- Why is my phone freezing and restarting if I only got it 3 weeks ago? I got an IPhone XR for my birthday 3 weeks ago, and about 2 weeks ago it started acting up. It would freeze and restart the whole phone and black out at random times. It's been happening a lot more recently, about 2 times a week my phone will act up. - My iPhone 6 was stolen two weeks ago? Two weeks ago at school I was changing in my school locker room and I set my phone down for about 5 seconds. I turned around to check somthing on it and it was gone. I already tried find my iPhone, calling it, find my friends, ECt. The school police already told me that they won't do anything about it. There are only about 15 people who could have stolen it, is there anyway I could figure out who it was?
