A Good $450 Or Less Gaming Desktop Build?

Yeah, I know, it isn't much money, but recently I bought an expensive iPhone 6 and a MacBook Pro.
Now, I want something to for gaming!
So, these are my options;
Either buy a PlayStation 4 for $450 (In Canada!)
Or, get a gaming PC for $450.
All that I need are the parts, I already have Windows 8 and a monitor.
The only thing that I absolutely need from this build, is that it stays UNDER $450 (CAD Currency) and that the tower/case is either relatively the same size as a PS4. If not, as small as they get!
I'm looking to play games like TES V: Skyrim, Crysis 3, Battlefield 4 etc…
I don't mind playing on Medium settings as long as the game runs smoothly!
If you can, please link that parts from a CANADIAN website such as; newegg.ca (Notice DOT CA) or Amazon.CA!

Thank you for the help!

Added (1). There has to but lots of upgradability!

Gaming desktop for under $450, you might need to double that amount.

I can't wrap my head around you paying $1300 for a MacBook that will, in all likelihood, be used for Facebook and the occasional school assignment, while thinking $450 for a gaming computer is adequate… Apple fans.

For a decent gaming build that will run those games on high settings at 1080p resolutions, you need to spend around $1000.

That's not possible. If you want a gaming desktop, you'll need to spend around 100 dollars just for a decent case: a micro case isn't going to hold the cards powerful enough to run games, and if they did, overheating is an issue.

assuming you manage to find a budget case, you still need a processor that runs modern games on medium: a rough estimate of one that'll do that is 150-200.

then, assuming you buy a budget processor (amd), that leaves you with a graphics card. The lowest you can probably go would be something in the 100-150 range.

i didn't even calculate your motherboard or your RAM.

the computer you build will probably run games as well as your macbook pro. If you wanted something for gaming, you should've saved the 1500 dollars spent on that laptop towards a gaming desktop: i built mine for 700, and it runs all modern games on high at least.

keep in mind this is USD.

$450 will barely buy you a computer that will boot Windows. Forget about running any sort of serious game.

  • Turtle Beach M3's: Good for Pc gaming? Like the title says. • Should I upgrade to the iPhone 5s for $450.00? Hey so right now I have the iPhone 4 and my birthday is in 2 weeks. I want to upgrade to the 5s for my birthday and we have a family plan. So my contract ends in October but in order to upgrade sooner it would cost $200 early termination fee plus $200 for the phone upgrade. So do you think I should do that to have the new phone for my birthday? Also, another annoying thing is that I have So many phone cases for my iPhone4 and they would all go to waste! :/ So what do you think I should do?
  • Should I buy an iPhone 5s for $250 or an iPhone 6 for $450? I'm buying an unlocked iPhone without a contract and am kinda on a budget… Don't really want to pay too much money for a phone. I do like how the 6 has more qualities and is a bigger phone but do you think it is worth the extra $200 over the 5s if many of the features are the same?
  • Should I build a 500$ Gaming Desktop OR iPhone 5s Gold Unlocked 16 GB? :c CAN'T MY MIND UP! I made up my mind, I will be making a 500$ iPhone Gaming Dildo so I can play on the PC and iPhone + have a spare dildo for my Girlfriend!
