Activating my Iphone after restore and it tells me I have no sim card in, when I do?

I used to have a blackberry on contract and I took the simcard out of that and put it into my Iphone, Its been working perfect but I recently restored it. Now I've restored it its saying ''Can't activate Iphone, please insert simcard and try again'' I have the simcard inserted, I've tried taking it out and cleaning it then putting it back it but its still saying the same thing, I can't get a new sim card as my contract on this one doesn't end until next year!

The update has screwed something up. Put the sim card back into the blackberry and use that for a while.

The only thing I can tell you is to try to restore it again. There's always a second way to restore a phone without turning it on, and with iphones you can even do it through itunes. If not, you are going to have to take it into the carrier store

Remove sim card from iPhone put it back into the blackberry. Delete the iphone restore IPSW (it may of got corrupt) restore again the when restore is complete put sim back into iPhone and try activation again. If it doesn't work you need to take it to a store to get it activated. Then relax and eat the blackberry and never go back.

If it still shows on the phone that the loading hasn't finished then just leave it for a while and it should restart. It happened to me and about 5 minutes later my phone restored you just need a sim to actually activate the phone.
