Activating new IPhone on Verizon?
I have an iPhone 4S with Verizon and I recently cracked the screen. I want to buy the iPhone 5 from Apple but I was wondering if it would cost money to activate it and how I would activate it when I get it? I understand I would have to pay for the phone but I was just wondering if there were any other fees and if it was even possible to activate a different phone if I'm on a contract
If you buy the phone at full retail price, you can activate it for free with Verizon. There are no activation fees.
- Why isn't my iphone 3GS activating? Ok, so my iPhone 3GS was unlocked on 5.1.1, and it was jailbroken. I wanted to factory unlock it, so it will be 6.0.1 and still unlock. When the people said my unlock was ready, they told me to update it to 6.0.1. When I tried setting it up and activate it, it won't work. It says we're unable to continue with your activation at this time. Any help would be appreciated.
- Verizon iPhone 5 not activating? I received my new iPhone 5 today and it keeps saying that it isn't activating and to call the Verizon customer support number if the problem persists. Unfortunately it is after business hours and I can't call them until tomorrow. Is there anything that I can do to activate it now? I've set up the iPhone and backed it up and turned off my other activated phone that this one is replacing and it is still not activating. Any ideas?

I just got my iphone 5-16GB from online via Virgin Mobile Canada, now that I'm trying to activate my phone, it's asking for the IMEI number, and when I type it, it's not matching with my Iphone. It's recognizing Iphone 5 64gb phone, should I continue activating my phone with the recognized phone? Please help, i don't know what to do, like is this a big deal that it recognize my iphone as 64gb not 16?
