Activation lock IPHONE 6 s?
I bought an iPhone off someone and it said "sim required" so I put my sim in it and now it says activation lock? What do I do?

Activation lock occurs when the owner reports it lost/stolen, this is to prevent thieves from using the device. It sounds like the seller either stole or found the device and has pawned it off to you. This can't be bypassed, only the person who locked it can unlock it
Ask the seller to totally reset the iPhone back to factory specifications: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content And Settings.
Only the last legitimate owner can do that as that person will need to enter the phone PIN code and also his or her Apple ID and Apple Password.
If the seller can't do that then the phone is unusable junk: there's no way to bypass Activation Lock. So you'll then have to demand a refund from the seller.
Next time, NEVER hand over your money before you have thoroughly checked that the phone is fully functional and usable.
- Will flashing my iphone get rid of the activation lock? I bought a iphone 4s from someone and they forgot to sighn the iphone off of there icloud account. So i'm wondering if i have it flashed ( say by Metro PCS os something ) will the iphone be like new again?
- Who can tell me how to get past that activation lock on iPhone 5s? I have proof of purchase to an iPhone 5s I purchased from eBay. Apple informed me that they or my phone provider could bypass the activation lock and that is why I purchased the phone for a better price than buying brand new.
