Actual monthly Verizon bill with droid razr?

Currently I use straight talk so I don't know anything about verizon billing. Looks like it would cost about $90 for the most basic plan, $3 for roadside assistance (which I will definitely use lol), and $7 for total equipment coverage and protection which should be about $100, but my mom, who's been using verizon for years, though has never had an iphone or android, says there's a whole lot of taxes on everything and that the bill would come out closer to $140 a month. I expect taxes, but $40? I just need as close an estimate as possible so I can accurately budget for my phone. If I go to a verizon store, will they be up front about it with me or dance around the subject like taxes don't exist? Like I said, taxes are ok, but who wants to sign up for something somewhat blindly without the opportunity to budget properly? So what have your experiences been with verizon regarding taxes or extra charges you weren't expecting?

Your mom is correct. My husband added me to his Verizon plan. The bill should have been $110. But with all of the taxes and fees was $142 per month.

There's also a $2 charge for having access to use 911 each month.

If you add up the total bill and multiply it by 25% you will get closer to the real cost of a Verizon plan.

It's so dumb that they charge extra to be able to call emergency services
