Advice on wet iphone? I dropped my iphone 6 plus in the toilet?

I immediately took it out of the toilet so it wasn't fully submerged into the water. The screen was still working and everything looked normal except for the fact that it was wet. I turned off my iphone and put it in a bag of rice a couple of hours passed and I opened the little slot where the SIM card goes to check for the red mark of water damage and it was white. So within 15 hrs of dropping it I turned it back on and the screen was working fine except my camera was blurry because there was still water inside the lens. The volume buttons on my phone werent working either and then my screen would get stuck and have the ringer thing on the whole time. I turned it off and put it in rice again. The following day I turned it back on and it was on for a while and it was still having the same problems when the screen all of a sudden started getting all of these weird white and black vertical lines. I quickly turned off my phone and stuck it in rice again. I took it out last night to see how it was and I can see the screen now but then it goes back to the line but the line arent like super bad like they were when they first appeared. I mean I can see the screen and all but its obviously really annoying. I checked to see the volume buttons and they work now. Its been day 5 days already and my screen isn't getting better but I was thinking of maybe trying to blow dry my phone on the cool switch to see if that helps. Has anyone had this happen to them? And what did you do afterwards?

  • Need an advice! My iphone got wet but still works fine? I spilled my water bottle on my backpack about 2 hours. I just noticed it when I opened my backpack and I saw my iphone 4s got wet, it wasn't submerged it's just wet. It still works fine, quickly I turned it off and haven't yet checked anything because I was shocked. Now that I got home I put it on a bag of rice. What to do after this? How long should I put this? I'm afraid if I turn it on before the phone completely dries it will get a problem.
