Need an advice! My iphone got wet but still works fine?
I spilled my water bottle on my backpack about 2 hours. I just noticed it when I opened my backpack and I saw my iphone 4s got wet, it wasn't submerged it's just wet. It still works fine, quickly I turned it off and haven't yet checked anything because I was shocked. Now that I got home I put it on a bag of rice. What to do after this? How long should I put this? I'm afraid if I turn it on before the phone completely dries it will get a problem.
This happened to my son he kept it in the rice overnight and had no issues. He dropped it in the toilet so it was pretty wet. Hopefully the rice works as well for you. Good luck, hopefully you won't need to get a new phone.
The iPhone is not really a ''good friend'' with water but it does actually survive a pretty good amount of water before it actually breaks so no need to worry if you ask me.
My grandma dropped hers in her glass of water whipped it off and went about her day. No problems.
Leave it for a couple days, I would actually put it in front of a little fan for a day.
- My iphone screen just broke but it still works fine. What should i do? My iphone 4s just fell like 2 ft onto concrete and the glass on the front is now shattered but it still recognises all my finger movements, can i just replace the glass or is it stuffed? Also will apple cover this

I powered it down, dried it off, and let it sit for 30 or so minutes. At first the screen was red but then turned on and everything works. The touch sometimes is unresponsive. Is it safe to use my phone? I'm letting it air dry by a window because rice can cause erosion… Should I use it?

- My iPhone 3G, works perfectly fine, but the light is dim as hell? OK, so I dropped my iPhone inside the toilet. When I got it out and dried it with a napkin it was fine, the touch was good, the light was good, everything was fine. I turned it off, and about two hours later the light went dim. It's like almost black. I don't know what to do? Let me remind you that it's old, and it's kinda loose, and it has a few cracks here and there.
