All contacts deleted after iOS 7 update?
Kind of new to the iPhone. Is it normal for all of my contacts to delete after I update the software? Also my mother and my brother use my Apple ID. Now all the contacts in my phone are theirs and I can see their pictures. Never had this problem before. How do I stop my phone from syncing their contacts? I figured out how to stop the pictures from syncing, but i don't know if they can see my pictures on their phone? This new software is driving me nuts!
Did you double check that your iCloud account and contacts are turned on? Go to your Mail settings and select iCloud and from there you will see if they are turned on. This happened to me as well yesterday, and iCloud had accidentally been switched off during the iOS update.
- Why did the iPhone update add back a contact/contacts I had deleted? Pretty irritating to see a person show up in my contacts whom I deleted over 6 months ago. A name and face I don't want to see. I mean I deleted the pictures and everything yet I just found that his pic and all his contact info was in there. Is it just a glitch where it did a restore from 7 months ago for some odd reason!
- Updated iPhone iOS 6.0 and it deleted All MY CONTACTS I do not have anything stored on icloud. Now, I do have all my stuff stored to my computer on iTunes, i just tried to restore my iPhone, but my contacts are not there. I'm very frustrated and mad that this happened.
- New update deleted all my contacts? So my iPhone was on ios5 and I updated to ios6 and all my contacts were gone! I did this without pluging it into my computer btw
- My iphone deleted all my contacts how do i get them back? OK i have an iPhone but all my numbers and contacts got deleted is there an easy way to get them back? As i had over 200 contacts all important numbers that i need! Thank-you for your help! Like can you get them again by connecting your phone to laptop? If so how?
