Am I able to buy a new O2 contract for a new O2 locked iphone 5?
I'm about to buy a brand new Iphone 5 O2 locked and as a result planning on buying an O2 contract separately. I was wondering whether there would be any problems.
I know this may sound really simple, but I don't want to end up buying this new iPhone and then not being able to buy a contract for it.
It will be fine as long as you pass the credit check which is much easier to do if you only require a sim deal because you are not taking out a contract handset, those credit checks are more difficult because obviously they are providing an expensive phone and in effect it is a loan.
Why not call o2 and ask them to run a check just to be sure? They are usually absolutely fine doing this, aside from that there will not be any problems.
- Would I be able to purchase the iPhone 5c and not violate my contract? I bought the iPhone 5 two months ago and now that the 5c is out, I want to purchase it. I'm not able to upgrade, but what if I just went to the apple store and bought it. Would my phone company let me activate it?
- Would I be able to get a new iPhone if my contract isn't up on AT&T? Got my iPhone back in June I believe. I've been having battery problems with it lately and wondering if I decided to get a new 5S would I have to pay any fees? And would I have to pay the full manufacturer price for the iPhone? I have AT&T
- Will I be able to use my iPhone 5 outside the USA after my contract expires? I have a contract with Verizon that is about to expire in a few months. I'm wondering if I can be able to send it to my sister in the Philippines and still work over there if she inserted a Philippines sim card. Or do I have to jailbreak or unlock it?
- Will I be able to transfer my contract from a regular Sim card to a Micro Sim card? I want to buy an iPhone 4S on T-mobile, but my current T-mobile sim card is a regular one that would not fit in to the iPhone 4S. Would I be able to somehow move my contract on to the new Micro Sim?
