Am I allowed to take photos on an airplane with my DSLR?
Let's say I have a Nikon D5000 DSLR camera aboard a United Airlines flight. Would I be able to take pictures with my camera? If not, may I use a video camera such as a Canon Vixia? If not may I use my iPhone? What is and is not allowed? And It is Chicago O'Hare airport to San Diego if that matters… Thank you.
Photography and videos are at the discretion of the airline. Check United's website for information. Electronic devices, including digital cameras, video cameras and phones must be off during landing and takeoff.
You might, But not during landing or take-off!
I've done it before with American Airlines, So I'd say you can.
- Would I be allowed to take a washing up basket on the national express coach as hand luggage? It will have 10 tops and jeans inside it will it be allowed I'll post a pic of the basket. It's like that but plastic.
- Why does some of the photos that I take with my iPhone 6 so much bigger than the other photos? I didn't change any of the settings in my phone as I have been taking one photo after the other. I don't think it is a burst shot either because I do not hold the capture button for long. So I'm expecting all photos to be relatively the same. Some photos even reached 200MB! I'm puzzled atm…
- Why do employees' families are not allowed to take part on the company's promo programs? Say the company is Apple. There's a promo where they are giving away 10 iPhone 6 and 5 iPhone 6 Plus for 16 lucky winners (each receive either a 6 or a 6+)
- Which one do you prefer, dslr or iphone? For those who have both iphone&a dslr, which one do you think is more useful& especially which one do you love more? And to those who have neither, which one do you fancy more?
