Am I spoiled? Lately certain people (namely family, and kids at school) have been calling me spoiled. I know I have alot, but I'm grateful?
My parents combined make just over 4 million a year. My mom is a well respected celeb make-up artist and author. My dad owns, and runs his own company. I live in a large beach house that has 6 bed rooms, and 8 bathrooms and a pool (I'm one of 6 girls). I've always gotten everything I want for Christmas and my birthday (including a party, if i want one). I have a collection of designer handbags, shoes, sunglasses, and jewelry. For electronics I have my own macbook, and iPhone 7. My family also owns a house up in the mountains, and we go on vacation several times a year. I've been to almost every continent and over 14 states.
Julia, I would suggest that you use some of your parents' $4 million annual income to consult wit a therapist. That therapist can explain why material things are important to you, why you have expanded on what your family does and doesn't own.
I'm amazed that a $4 million income equals travel to 14 States. My family makes less than $4 million, and we've been to every State.
But to answer your question, I don't know if you're spoiled. I do think you might be obnoxious.
Oh, your so mistreated, you should call c.p.s. And turn in your parents for treating you so bad.
Is it expected? That's one way to tell if you're spoiled. Do you see yourself providing for what's yours one day? That's the other. Life ain't about what you got. At the end of the day it's what you do.
Not spoiled - fortunate.
best wishes!
"spoiled" is different than wealthy. One thing about visible wealth though is that non-visible, well invested, durable wealth is better. Ask your parents about them giving you and your sisters trust funds of about $1 million each that they gradually build up over the next 5 years.
Quite the humblebrag.
They might be jealous
Being grateful is a good trait Being spoiled is asking for and getting every thing you ask for. You sound well grounded and blessed but not spoiled.
- Why are people calling me a spoiled brat? So last Christmas here was my Christmas list: A MacBook pro computer New clothes Ugh boots An iPhone 5 A Samsung galaxy note tablet a $200 gift card A Xbox This is what I got instead: A new pair of socks Two candy canes A proscan tablet A $50 gift card Converse shoes A sweater And a braclet They always get the opposite of what I want! God my parents are so selfish! They make LOTS of money. My dad is a lawyer and my mom is a Pharmacist. My cheap *** parents.
- My iPhone 6 has been acting a bit weird lately? I'll be texting a few people on imessaging or kik, and I'll have to double tap the home button. Sometimes when I double tap, it brings me to what looks like my home screen, but with no apps, just the wallpaper I have set. When I press the home button again, nothing happens. I have to restart my phone. This can happen up to 3,4, or even 5 times a day. What does this mean? Is something wrong with my iPhone? I have the newest updates installed btw.
- People keep calling me and I don't know who they are? I have a iphone 4 and I keep getting calls from people saying that I called them first, and I know didn't, their numbers aren't even in my recents. Today I got a call from a random saying to stop calling her and thought I was a telemarketer… How can I make this stop? And how did this even happen?
- My iPhone 5 been acting up lately? My phone been acting up lately. I dropped it a few time and now the on/off button sometime don't work. I have to press it harder than before for it to shut down. And recently I plug my earphone and listen to music the song fast forward by itself sometime and there like a static noise when I plug my earphone in? What should I do? Is the problem is my phone or earphone?
