Am I the bad one in the relationship?

Am I being a bad girlfriend for expecting something in return?

I have always spoiled my boyfriend. Like I bought him over $1000 in just tickets to visit me since we're long distance. I've spent over $500 in just gifts for him. Not to mention taking him to really expensive restaurants in Vegas. I even bought him a new iPhone 4S because his iPod Touch broke.

The only thing he has ever gotten me was a $25 gift card and a $2 necklace.

I'm moving out of country so my mom sold everything in our house and quit working already. We ran out of money because it was a difficult time for us. We had no food or water for a week. So I asked my boyfriend to send a pizza to our house, and he said no he couldn't. Then later I see him eating delivery pizza from Papa Johns. Should I be offended that he couldn't even send me a pizza for food after I have gave him so much, or am I the one to blame because I expect something in return?

Sounds to me like he is using you, gladly taking everything you give him but giving nothing in return.

You should be a little bit but it's not what he gives u it's how much he loves you.

I think both sides are a little bad. When you give gifts or money, you should do it with no strings attached and no expectations of getting things in return. However, in this situation, asking for help when you really need it is a different story. If he really can't help you, then there's nothing he can do, but from what you say he could have. So if he really loved you and cared about you, he should have done what he could to at least make sure that you had food, if anything. I think in this case, he is just being selfish.
