Any graphic designers/animators looking to make a lot of money?
I'm currently putting together an app creating team and was wondering if you d like an opportunity to get involved with bringing our conceptual designs to life. We already have a Conceptual Design Team and a Programmer (Who specializes in iPhone apps). What we need currently is a Graphic Designer and a 3D Modeler. This company is at the earliest stages of its development that being said this is the first app we're attempting to get put together. There's no money up front for this work once we get all the pieces we need together then we ll pass it on to our programmer to complete the project and try to get it into the App Store. Once we get to that point we will discuss money and percentages. Also if your work proves to be exceptional you ll have a permanent spot on this creative team for future apps. Whether you decide to join us or not we do truly appreciate you taking the time to read this and consider us.
You're going to get nowhere offering people the "opportunity" to do work for you, and you'll tell them later what percent they'll get.

What this says is that you're a startup with no solid business plan in motion to guarantee payment to contributors to your project. If this was me, I wouldn't even consider accepting this ludicrous proposition without a contract stating my payment for services rendered with a potential percentage of company ownership (I'd choose a percentage based on how you decide to structure the business and how many stakeholders you'd have… Probably no more than 15% total ownership). Good luck finding anyone with that kind of proposition.
Hold on, you want someone to work for free and after your done then talk about future payments? Yeah right.
- What are some good photo editing/graphic editing apps for iPhone? I already use bazaart, picsart, afterphoto and fontcandy for my graphics that I make on tumblr but I was wondering if there was anything out there more advanced? I tried the photoshop app but it's not that great to me. Any suggestions?
- Weird graphic issues on my iPhone's screen? My phone got water damage that it made a stuck pixel on the upper left and has water inside the screen on Thursdsy. The water went away when I placed it in instant rice. But today there's like some lines showing up, and when it was on booting screen, it showed some blue red and green dots everywhere, I tried powering it off and ALL but still won't work. Please help! I'm using this phone for my school as there's books installed on it, school starting next 2 weeks!
- Should a Graphic Designer learn iOS programming? I'm going to college for Graphic Design and found a intro to iOS programming class. The class shows the basics of designing applications for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The course will also have the basic introduction to HTML, CSS, Javascript and Objective C language. And in the end the student will earn a CiTE certificate. I've never done anything like this before, which is why I'm not sure if it is relevant or useful for a future Graphic Desiger like me to learn.
- Is anybody willing to do graphic design work for an app for free? Hi, I'm going to try and build an app. I have none of the skills required to do so. Because of this I'm putting a team together so if anyone can code for an iphone app, do graphic design work on the layout, or have any other skills useful and are willing to work for equity of a royalty on the app but other than that free, please tell me what you can do and a way of contacting you!
