Any way to [create] and Publish an iPhone app for FREE?
I'm trying to make an iPhone app that just by clicking buttons will give sounds. To actually PUBLISH the app do I really have to pay 99$ every year even if I want the app to be free? Or is there perhaps another way or site that I can use to publish it without that fee?
It would not be published via Apple's App Store as they require apps to have some useful function and clicking buttons to make sounds would not make the grade today.
And this is exactly why Apple charge a $99 annual developers fee.
Your only option is to supply it to people who have jailbroken their iOS devices allowing access to apps from outside the App Store. If you can find someone who would be interested in such an app.
Even if you developed an app for an Android system you would need to pay Google to have it distributed from their store (running stores costs money) and it would be rejected by stores such as Amazon on quality/usefulness grounds.
I doubt you can publish it for free, also you need to follow some guidelines from apple as well. But once your app is published over there, you can submit it to tons of review sites for free.
- Why won't YouTube let me publish videos from my iPhone? Everytime I try and upload a video from my iPhone. It does the "Preparing Video" and about halfway through a message appears saying the video couldn't be published. I just tried uploading a video that shows how to get the "Super Perks" and "Beauty of Annihilation" Easter egg on Call of Duty: Black Ops zombies mode. The video is 19:06 minutes long. I know it will post because I've seen 40 minute long videos.

I haven't worked on the source code though, which is a good thing because I would have to spend a lot of money on the programming phase. Is there any website where I can sell my iPhone app UI without the source code?
