Anyone that knows about cars?
I own a 4 door, 2006 Honda Civic. The car doesn't have the connection for an auxilary cord & I want to listen to music from my phone. Is there anything I can buy to be able to listen to my music? I don't have an iphone, I have an LG smartphone though. Also, if you could list the price average of whatever it is I need to buy. Please & thank you!
Yes, you have to buy a FM transmitter such as those in the link below. It plugs into your phone's headphone jack and sends a signal to your car's FM radio. You pick the frequency -- one on your radio where there's no nearby FM radio station. They work great except in big cities that have FM stations all over the band -- no blank spots. The FM station can actually overpower your little FM transmitter on your Phone.
You can get them at BestBuy, Target, Walmart and other places.
- Why do people on welfare have nice cars purses iphones etc It really doesn't make sense to me. People on welfare can somehow afford fancy things like nice cars, purses and iphones. BUT NOT FREAKING FOOD. Really? I'm So GLAD that this is what my taxpayer money is going towards, buying some welfare queen's iphone plan.
- What cars support Carplay on iPhone? Is there a definitive list of cars that support carplay for the iPhone? What about an older iPod touch or even a data-enabled iPad?
- Listen to iPhone in cars with no iPhone adapter? My car doesn't have a USB port to plug my iPhone in to listen to music. I don't have a cassette player, so I can't buy a iPhone/cassette player adapter. I'm wanting something that will allow me to listen to music from my iPhone in my car through the car charger/cigarette lighter or any other way that would work. I've tried to look up ones to buy, but I'm just not positive what to type in to look. Everything that comes up is nothing at all what I'm needing!
- It's 2014 shouldn't we be having flying cars by now? I'm 20 and I grew up on a lot of science fiction. So when I looked to see the future I thought we would be more advanced than this. Sure some of the technology we have is quite impressive like: video games, computers, the Internet, HD TVs, smartphones and tablets, etc. But other than that the world still looks the same. Where is my flying car, my jetpack, my robot butler, moon colonies, phaser rifles, domed cities, underwater cities, food pills, etc? Why does the future suck so much?
