Apple Earpods acting up, phone head jack or EarPods problem?

I have an iPhone 6s, when I use any other headphones(besides Apple EarPods) on it I can hear perfectly fine. When I connect the Apple headphones to my 6s I hear a distorted and scratchy sound. However wen connected to another device the Apple Headphones work fine. Any solutions or ideas to fix this?

The plug on the Pods may be damaged (bent?)
in such a way as to make it fail in the iPhone's jack but not in another jack.

Yes, it's a goofy problem, but things like that happen.

Only a close in-person examination by an expert will do any good ---
and that might not, either.

  • Will Will Apple earpods work with iPhone 4? I'm planning to get Apples new earpod headset. A lot of people are complaining that the sound changes by itself while in use of the earpods. Has this happened to you? Also, I want to know if the remote and mic will work with iPhone 4. ALSO i need to know how it works out with running! I like to run and some people say that sweat gets into them and wrecks them. I'm not an extremely sweaty person though.
  • Problem with the headphone jack in my iPhone 6? Whenever I'm wearing my headphone while walking (or basically any type of fast movement) the music will get all staticy for a few seconds. At first I thought my Apple headphones were wearing out but I got a new pair and the same thing is happening. Is there any way I can take care of this at home rather than sending it in to get fixed?
  • New Apple Head-set with mic? I have a pair of the new Apple head phones that came with my Iphone5 and it has a picture of a mic on the back of the volume control and I don't see a little hole for the mic. So I'm just a little confused. Is there a mic on it?
  • My apple earpods have lost the bass on one side? I accidentally put my apple earpods (newly designed ones that came out with iPhone 5) through the washer/dryer and they're fine, but the only small difference is that the right side has lost about 85%-95% of its bass. Is there something I can do? I'm assuming not, but any advice would be nice.
