Apple ID verification email not going though?
I'm trying to set up my Apple ID so i can check my email on my iPhone as well as dowload apps. Apple claims it sent me a verification email and i have hit resend MANY times. I have been trying to figure this out for a week now. I never get any emails from apple. And yes, i already checked my spam folders.
one suggestion that i saw online said to try changing the email to another account. So i changed it to my yahoo. And that worked. However, i don't want that email associated with my apple ID. I want my school email to be the one associated with it. Which is @odu.edu and is technically a gmail account. When i tried switching it back. The same thing happened again: no verification email sent.
its getting extremely frustrating and all the suggestions i see online say the same thing and nothing is helping me. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Try creating a totally new, totally separate Gmail account and use it specifically for Apple-related stuff. Forward those emails to your @odu.edu account if you want to see them, but log in and use the new Gmail account when you need to.
If you believe this is an error with Apple, call their customer service. They're overpaid to listen to and fix these types of issues.
