Apple Iphone UK - Cheaper to buy the handset only and sim card separately?

I want to buy an iphone. Ideally wait for the iphone 6 until it comes out.
without a doubt the iphone 6 will be expensive.

I know it depends on the deal but pay monthly contracts will be expensive.

However, is it cheaper to buy the actual iphone 6 handset from Apple Store and get a nano sim only separately and pay £10 every month?

Nahh i don't think so cuz in pay as you go, you are locked under that many mins text and data and will have to wait to top up, in monthly, you can go over to make emrgency calls and txts and is only 50 quid cheaper

No one certain answer, but a basic finance formula. It depends on the coins in your purse and your tolerance for carriers. Right now a 16gb 5s starts at $650 USD but can be had via a carrier on a two year contract for $150 USD out the door. Psychologically most consumers can't fathom forking over that lump sum of coin for something so small all at once so the opt for the contract terms. Others can't stand the 24 month period of mandatory payments and prefer to take their lumps in one transaction with smaller month-to-month bills/fees. Expect a price increase on the 6. I anticipate $700-750 USD for base price. That said, all that matters is your stomach tolerance and the depth of your wallet for which path you choose. Suggestion would be save as much coin as possible between now and late Sept. Release date. Preorder from Apple direct and then month-to-month if you can tolerate it. Best luck.
