Will my cell phone plan with verizon be cheaper if I get the iPhone separately?
I plan on switching to Verizon soon, yet I will be on a budget since I'll also be living on my own for college. So my question is, can I open up an account with Verizon, buy a cheap phone with data and texting etc. On it, THEN buy a Verizon iPhone off of ebay? Also, how much would the monthly charge be if I was to buy an iPhone 5 with its plan at Verizon?
It will cost you more to get a plan with a cheap smart phone then buy a different smart phone (iphone) off of e-bay.
If you want to use a Iphone with Verizon you will have to get a smart phone plan. $40 for unlimited talk and text and a data plan.
$50 for 1GB of data
$60 for 2GB of data
$70 for 4GB of data
$80 for 6GB of data
$90 for 8GB of data
If you buy a cheap basic phone, you will only be able to use a basic phone with minutes and data package you choose. If you want to switch your service from a basic phone to a Iphone you will have to change your minutes package and data package from a basic phone to a smart phone.
- Where can i get a good prepaid cell phone plan with data for my iphone 4? I have an iphone 4, with an at&t go phone sims.at&t says the only way i can get internet is if i'm connected to Wi-Fi. Why is that? I have unlimited, talk, text &web plan & my phone i used before was not a smart phone

- Is it cheaper to get a new iPhone on a plan or buy it unlocked and add a cheap plan? I can either buy the phone for $250 and pay a monthly $80 plan with data for 2 years or purchase the unlocked phone $800 and pay $30 - $50 a month - I might not get data but it wouldn't be a big deal to me, I'm just trying to find a deal thats not ridiculously expensive cause I can't really afford too too much right now. Which would be better?
- Is it cheaper to add a temporary international plan or buy a temporary phone for a trip to euripe? I'm going on a trip to Europe (from the US) for a few days and I would like to be able to call/text while I'm away. I have an iPhone through at&t, and I was debating whether or not to buy a temporary phone with an international SIM card, or get a temporary international plan through at&t. Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice for this.
