Are flipped photos accurate?
When you take a photo on the camera app (on a iPhone) the pictures flips then saves, but on let s say the snapchat camera nothing flips it stays the same. What's more accurate? On the flipped, I look horrible like my face is all pointed to point at the other side. (If that makes sense) I showed many of my family and friends a picture of me flipped or the snapchat photo and they all say I look like the snapchat photos. (And I hope that s how they see me) I believe them, but all this research about mirrors being what we want to see and cameras are confusing me. Can Someone explain?

to answer your question, the normal un-flipped image is the most accurate of the two, but not accurate in terms to how you actually appear.
What part of flipped can you consider accurate?
- Which is more accurate: mirror or video? - 1 I look pretty decent in the mirror and I can take really nice close up pictures. But, a couple days ago, my friend videotaped me on her iPhone and I looked really bad. But, everyone else looked the same. Could lighting have something to do with it? Which one would you trust more? When taking pictures with my iphone I noticed that it flips my pictures and makes my whole face look asymmetrical but when I use my Imac front facing camera it does not flip the photos and my face is symmetrical. I'm really tripping out on this because I know a camera can't make you look better than what you really look like so I'm guessing its the iphone camera is distorting my facial features.
