Are iPhone Notes backed up?
My iPhone 6s broke (battery problems, I can't turn it on). I have a lot of important information in my Notes app - will I be able to acces them from my new iPhone (same model)?
By default, your Notes and some other things are backed up to iCloud. You can double check by going to icloud.com, signing in, and going into the Notes section. If you see your notes, they were backed up and you're good to go. However, if they're not there, then you are out of luck… That's why important to have a good backup strategy and testing your backups!
- Will my voicemails be backed up on to my new iPhone 5 from my old iPhone? I had a problem with my old iPhone 5 after having it for 4 months. I took it to apple to get it fixed or "replaced" and they did give me a new one. Anyway, they told me that the battery life and freezing problem that i was having with the phone could be because of my software and they told me not to back it up. The problem is that I had old voicemails on that phone and I don't have the old one anymore. Is there anyway that I could get those voicemails back or even just one.
- Why does my iPhone notes app.delete some notes? Some have been there for over a year others just disappear after a few days. I have not (to my knowledge) done anything differently.
- My iPhone says that my Notes is taking up 1.79 GB of storage. I only have 3 notes, and there isn't a lot of text in them. How do I fix this? Recently there were a lot of notes on my phone, but I deleted most of them until there were only three notes left. However, my phone still says my Notes takes up 1.79 GB. I tried writing a really lengthy note to see if the GB would go higher, but it didn't change. I don't want to delete my three remaining notes, which have very little text in them. I doubt that these notes are taking up 1.79 GB. What is the problem here, and how do I fix it?
- Is my iPhone backed up correctly? My iPhone 4 device is having an issue, and I'm trying to get is swapped out today. I want to back up my data to the iCloud, but there's some confusion. On iTunes my phone is switched to "Back up to iCloud", and under that it says it's last back up was when I plugged it into my computer. But on my phone under iCloud backup, it says it has never been backed up. Is this normal? Two different answers doesn't help me out really…
