Are iPhone notification sounds copyrighted?
I produce a noir style audio drama and want to use the "Noir" notification as a transition sound effect. Just want to check to see if it is under copyright.
They are copyrighted. Contact Apple corporate, they tend to allow use for free. You just need to get permission first.
- Why won't my iPhone make certain sounds anymore? For some reason my iPhone is not making sounds for certain apps such as camera, or for standby mode. I checked the settings, and both "lock sounds" and "keyboard clicks" are on, yet I don't hear either of these. I know the speaker works, because it plays music and I can use speaker phone. Anyone have any clue what the problem could be? I also tried resetting the iPhone, didn't work.

- Sound quality of the new iPhone 6s sounds horrible compared to iPhone 5s? I recently updated my iPhone 5s to the iPhone 6s and I noticed a significant sound quality difference. The new phone sounds much less clear and somewhat muffled, compared to the old phone. There's nothing blocking the speaker on either phone (not even a screen protector). I played the same song on both phones and the 6s sounds so bad. Has anyone else noticed this?
