Are there aux cords that plug into the dock port on IPhone 5's?
I bought a LifeProof case for my Iphone 5 and the headphone jack is too small for regular auxiliary cords. It came with a "lifeproof" adapter to plug into it so other cords fit, but it sucks and is always has static. I just want a cord that is half dock adapter and half auxiliary.
If your LifeProof adapter has static, you either have a faulty Aux cable or Adapter. Try purchasing one of those and your problem should be fixed. I believe that the iPhone 5 dock connector was made without audio support, so they do not make that cable. Audio only comes out of the headphones.
- Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
- Why don't I get sound on aux cords? I have an iPhone 5s, and I can't get it to work with the aux cord in the car but my sister couldn't with her 5, then her 5s, then her SE. It doesn't work with aux cord speakers either. My phone works perfectly fine with headphones and my family uses amazon music.
- Why does my 2010 car not have an aux port? I have a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado truck. It doesn't have an auxiliary port to plug my iPhone into, and it frustrates me because I hate having to make CDs.
- My car doesn't have a cd/tape player or aux port? What can I do? All it has is radio and I really want to be able to play CDs/tapes/my iPhone it does have a cig lighter
