Are there more ebay scammers than amazon?

Is it just me or are there more scammers on ebay then any other website.
I recently tried to sell my iphone 5 through ebay and I've gotten messages from people asking me to ship to a friends address.
Of course this invalidates seller protection and the buyer will file a claim and get the item for free after the friend receives the item.

Though I sell on amazon and I don't get this kind of feedback from buyers.

Amazon has a lot more seller protection guidelines than eBay does. The only draw to eBay is the seller's fees are less, so you make more money selling there.
eBay's proven to not give a *** about it's sellers, since they take the customer's side in every case, even if it is a scam.

Yes there are more ebay scammers simply because there are more ebay users than amazon users. But as long as you follow the guide lines no one can scam you. People could give you a offer like to drop the price and re sell it so that you can sell it to that specific buyer. But never trust people when they tell you to ship to another address or trade out side of ebay.

Hope this helped!
