Why the iphone 5s is more expensive on ebay than in the apple store?
I'm not complaining or anything just want to understand why would anyone buy it on ebay or what could be the reason why it is more expensive on ebay. Usually it is the other way around and on ebay you can get better deal but seems like when it comes to iphone 5s it is not the case. But why?
Normally the stock runs out quickly and its very difficult to get hold of one for a period of time.
Shouldn't buy a phone from Amazon, Ebay, Craigslist, ect. Always, go to your local electronic stores or buy it directly from your carrier.
The phones being sold on the Apple site require a contract to get that lower price. Possibly the phones on ebay are non contract so they will cost more.
The eBay prices you are seeing are not subsidized, as in no discounts, vs the Apple Store prices which I'm assuming are the $199, 299, 399 which are carrier subsidized, hence cheaper.
- Will the iPhone 5 be significantly more expensive than the iPhone 4S? Basically, will the pricing for a new iPhone 5 be the same compared to the current iPhone 4S? Or do you think it will be more than the price of the iPhone 4S now? I'm contemplating just waiting for the iPhone 5 to buy a new phone but if it's going to be significantly more expensive than the iPhone 4S then I don't know if it is worth it.

- Why is the iPhone 5 more expensive than the iPhone 5C? Well iPhone 5C is newer and had a little improvement (not much of a difference, I know) but why is it less expensive than iPhone 5? They are still selling iPhone 5 here in our country I'm wondering why the price of 5C is lower than 5 even if it has sort of improvement.
- Why are iPhones so much more expensive in england than america? I was just browsing around on the Apple site, and I was having a look at the iPhone 5 when I realised that I was on Apple USA site not the UK, and switched to the UK site. The iPhone 5 on the US site said from $199 but when I went on the UK site it said from £529! That is like $788 dollars! Why the hell is the iPhone 5 (and basically any iPhone model/apple product) so much more expensive in the UK? 199 dollars and 788 dollars is a huge difference.
