Are we allowed iPhones on a airplane?
No your not allowed iPhones on a plane… I'm so done, where's my gun… I mean pellet gun
You most likely will have to put your phone into flight mode while on the plane.
Having flown twice recently, I know that use of cell phones is allowed throughout the flight except with landing or taking off. Of course, on most planes there's no service while in the air. Larger devices (ipads, etc.) were prohibited on the flights I took which were local in southern US on American Express jet. The rules are constantly changinng
Yes, you can bring your iPhone. You can use it during flight, but it will have to be in Airplane mode.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. The above answerers clearly do not keep up with the news. In November of last year, the FAA passed a law that allows fliers to use cell phones during all phases of flight. Some airlines, however, do have their own rules, which you do have to follow.
Voice communication is NOT allowed at all, though.
Bring it aboard. Checked baggage or carry-on, the choice is yours. (See below.)

Check or Carry-on
Please carefully pack your electronics items, making sure all cords are wrapped and any DVDs, CDs, or cassettes are removed from their devices. While you can pack expensive, fragile electronics items in checked or carry-on bags, we recommend packing them in your carry-on.
Laptop computers, full-size video game consoles, CPAP machines, full-size DVD players, and video cameras that use video cassettes must be removed from their carrying cases and submitted separately for x-ray screening. Small and portable electronic items (smart phones, tablets, portable games, etc.) do not need to be removed from their carrying cases or carry on bags.
For items you wish to carry-on, you should check with the airline to ensure that the item will fit in the overhead bin or underneath the seat of the airplane.
Even if an item is generally permitted, it may be subject to additional screening or not allowed through the checkpoint if it triggers an alarm during the screening process, appears to have been tampered with, or poses other security concerns. The final decision rests with TSA on whether to allow any items on the plane.
