Added (1). I'm going to the 6th grade and my parents won't get me a phone, I work really hard in school and personally I think I deserve one, I'm pretty for my age. I worked really hard on 2 essays persuading them about why I should have a phone but they still won't change their minds and it makes me pretty upset, since its 2015 and you know you see everyone with phones so. :/

We got my kids their own phones because they sometimes come home to an empty house, and we have no land line.
No kid NEEDS a cell phone. They are luxuries, not needs. 18. She should also get a job and buy her own. When she is mature enough. Age doesn't really matter. <3 You can always see if they can get you an iPod Touch. =P You can text for free using apps like Google Voice or iMessage, and do everything else an iPhone can do, except voice calls. (Which is possible through Skype, etc.)
