Which one is best for making youtube commentaries and why?
Some people make perfectly acceptable video clips using an iPhone. For speech any £10 dynamic microphone will make an acceptable recording. For this application, how you use the microphone is more important than which one it is. If you keep the microphone close to your mouth and speak as loudly as comfort allows, then background noise will be a smaller proportion of the recorded audio. What you must not do, esp if you are using a mixer or other recording device, is to speak too quietly or from too big a distance, and hope that by turning up the channel or recording level, you will compensate for a weak voice signal. Then any background noise will also be amplified. Always set recording level/mixer channel volume as low as reasonably possible and speak loud and clear and close to the mike.
Before you do a final take, practise until you get the right setting.
- Will Audio-Technica ATH-M50's work without an amplifier? I'm looking to get the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones. I would mostly be using them with my iPhone 4 and my Macbook Pro 13". I listen to all sorts of music, from folk metal, hip hop, jazz, and pop. I don't know much about these higher levels of headphones but I know this pair is very good for the price. I have read a bit about portable amplifiers, but I don't know what that really is and if it would be necessary.
- Why are my iPhone videos not in sync with audio when moved on to my laptop? So when move videos i take on my iPhone 4s or iPod 4th gen to my laptop which is running Windows 7, all of the videos are not in-sync with the audio it was recorded with. They all work fine on the devices but never when I move them to my laptop. All I do is drag and drop the video files from the iPhone to my laptop. I do not use any converters.Am I doing something wrong?

- Recording iPhone game, Can't sync video to audio? Hello I'm recording my iphone 4s screen with display recorded, there's no lag at all. I'm also using an aux jack to my computer to record the sound through audacity. I'm using Pinnacle HD Studio 15 for my video editing. The problem is i can't get the audio to sync to the video. Every time i play the preview the audio is quite far behind the video, Even though i'm pressing record on my iphone and comp at the same time.
