Will Audio-Technica ATH-M50's work without an amplifier?
I'm looking to get the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones. I would mostly be using them with my iPhone 4 and my Macbook Pro 13". I listen to all sorts of music, from folk metal, hip hop, jazz, and pop. I don't know much about these higher levels of headphones but I know this pair is very good for the price. I have read a bit about portable amplifiers, but I don't know what that really is and if it would be necessary.
Your Iphone4 and Macbook have built-in preamps. The ATH M50 works well without an amplifier and can be directly coupled to you gadgets. If your laptop is equipped with an audio equalizer then the M50 would bring out its ultimate potential!
- Making amplifier for for 5 watt speaker? Okay, so i have a 5 watt speaker that i want to install in my dirt bike helmet and i want to play music with my iphone 5. There's only one problem, if i plug in the speaker straight to my iphone it won't play music loud. I need an amplifier but i can't have anything to big because this speaker and the amp has to fit into my helmet. I also i have no idea what to make the amp out of or what kind of amp i need to buy.
- Is audio technica ath m50x worth it? Do they sound good and do they work for my iphone because ik the m50 dosent fit unless you have the adapter
- I dropped my iPhone 3GS audio port down into coffee and my audio does not work When I try to turn up my volume it says headphones but my headphones still work. I Tried it on speaker phone it still works how can I get my audio working agen!
- How to record my iPhone screen and audio without Jailbreaks? I really want to do game walkthroughs via the emulator on my iPhone and I wanted to know if there was a way to do that without a Jailbreaking or hurting the wallet
