Back up was corrupt or not compatible with the iphone?
So a couple days ago I realised that my iphone backups were taking a lot of space up on my macbook, so I did some research and found out i could move the backup folder to my external hard drive. So i followed the steps and moved it over. But now when I go to sync my phone it says that the backup was corrupt or was not compatible with the iphone. I don't know why it's saying that, i have my hard drive plugged in and it should be backing up to the hard drive. I think I might have done a step wrong to move the folder to my hard drive because I have not seen anyone else with my problem.
Not finding the file on the external hard disk. You have to find the destination setting on the iphone backup utility or put the backup file onto the laptop hard drive again, then do the backup. Then put the new backup onto the external drive.
Another cause might be the date that was given as newer in the property of the copied backup file.
- Why is this world so corrupt? Imagine all the people dying of deadly diseases and suffer every day while others are complaining about how their iphone battery doesn't charge quick enough… like people say "that's life"… Why? That's an awful, awful difference in the quality of life and no one can change it but why is it so darn unfair?
- What does it mean when it says firmware not compatible for iPhone 4? I tried download the iOS 7 but when I tried to update my phone, it says "firmware not compatible." Does anyone know how to fix that?
- Rugged/waterproof iPhone 5 case compatible with screen protector/back film protector? Was wondering if there's any iPhone 5 case out there that is compatible with a screen protector and/or a back film protector on the iPhone itself? I understand cases like Lifeproof need you to remove your screen protector so it can maintain it's waterproof abilities. Was just looking for a case that can work both ways.
- Phone not compatible with US simcard? Do i need a new one, or can it get unlocked? (iPhone SE)? So i moved to the US recently and was told my phone was not compatible with us simcards. Do i need a new phone or is there a way to make my phone compatible?
