Backing up iPhone using cloud?
Is it worth using iCloud to back up my data or stick to using my computer as storage?
Opinions please and why
I use the cloud backup all the time and there have been times that it has come in very handy like for instance my first iphone 5 developed a problem and i was given a new one by the apple store, and then all i had to do while activating my new iphone was when just start from a previous icloud backup.
Which when i did was exactly the same as the iphone i have just given back to apple broken, even down to my text messages being there and my ringtone and wallpaper everything was the same as the previous phone.
- Would you pay to have the backing glass of you iphone changed to a different colour? I was thinking of this has a business idea. I saw that the new ipods had different backing cases of different colours and i was thinking i would really like my iphone to be blue, so would you think it was a good idea to have the back of your iphone a different colour, would you pay for it?
- Would backing up then restoring an iphone remove a jailbreak? Due to the recent release of IOS 7, i plan on updating my iphone 5(ios 6.1.2) but it is jailbroken. Would backing up then restoring my iphone keep all my pictures and app data while removing the jailbreak? If not what is your best recommendation for me to do. Would really appreciate an answer thanks!
- Restoring iPhone and backing it up? -Well my iPhone 4S has been going in and out of 3G to the no service circle a lot lately so I've read it's Apple recommended to restore your iPhone. -Now, my iPhone is backed up on my computer, but my question is, when I restore my iPhone back to factory default, am I still allowed to back it up after the restore so I don't lose all my contacts (300 contacts), pictures, etc. -Idk I'm a total noob when it comes to backup and restore for the iPhone: p.
- Is there a difference between backing up your iphone on icloud and itunes? I reset my phone and couldn't find the backup on iTunes however I found it on iCloud, is there any difference between the backup?
